Rapper Lil TJay, who is based in New York, was shot early on Wednesday in New Jersey. T Jay had immediate medical attention after being swiftly transported to the hospital.
Lil TJay, also known as Tione Jayden Merritt, is a well-known American rapper, singer, and songwriter who is best known for his music albums True 2 Myself and Destined 2 Win as well as a number of peppy hits. The Rapper has over 7 Million Instagram followers, and when word of the musician being shot broke online, his fans were in disbelief.
According to the most recent TMZ sources, rapper Lil TJay was one of the two victims who were shot numerous times at The Promenade in Edgewater, New Jersey. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office subsequently revealed to the media that the rounds were fired just after midnight.
According to the authorities, it was a robbery case, and arrests were made. The detective later that day apprehended Mohamed Konate, who had first attempted to rob TJay and his companions. He is accused with three charges of first-degree attempted murder, three counts of first-degree armed robbery, two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and three counts of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Jeffrey Valdez and Antoine Boyd, two of Tjay’s buddies, were also taken into custody for unlawfully possessing a firearm in the second degree.
