Bangladesh and Afghanistan will face off in the third game of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. The game will take place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, August 30. The Afghan squad led by Mohammad Nabi thrashed Sri Lanka by an impressive eight wickets in their campaign opener in Dubai. Left-arm fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi, finished with three wickets, was named the Player of the Match.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, is looking for their best T20I playing XI. Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh’s skipper stated that, they can’t immediately improve in the shorter format.
Bangladesh on the other hand, will enter the Asia Cup with having lost four out their previous five T20i games. The loss of Nurul Hasan Sohan and Liton Das owing to injury problems has significantly, hurt their batting.
