England Announces Team For World Cup T20, As Big Ben Returns And Jason Roy Misses Out

The 15-man England team for the T20 World Cup, which starts in Australia next month, includes Ben Stokes once again. The same 15-person side will compete against Australia in a three-match T20I series before the World Cup in October. Stokes played in his final T20I match in March 2021.

Jos Buttler will lead England in the upcoming World Cup T20 in October which is going to happen in Australia. England’s starting lineup remains fairly unchanged, with the exception of opener Jason Roy, who was not chosen.

Richard Gleeson, Liam Dawson, and Tymal Mills have been chosen as England’s three reserves, the last two are also members of the 19-person team that will visit Pakistan before to the World Cup.

Jos Buttler(C), Moeen Ali, Jonathan Bairstow, Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Chris Jordan, Liam Livingstone, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Ben Stokes, Reece Topley, David Willey, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood.

Travelling Reserves :

Liam Dawson, Richard Gleeson, Tymal Mills.
