Temba Bavuma, who is making a comeback, will lead South Africa in the limited overs games against India before to the important multi-team event and at the next T20 World Cup in Australia.
Temba Bavuma was forced to leave the current England tour after suffering an elbow injury in the fourth T20I match against India in June of this year. But, he will be back leading his side at the T20 World Cup 2022.
The leading limited-overs batsman for South Africa, Rassie van de Dussen, is presently out of both tournaments after breaking his left index finger during the second Test against England in Manchester. He will undergo surgery, and recovery time is expected to last at least six weeks.
The South African T20 team also features renowned players like Rilee Rossouw, Tristan Stubbs, and Wayne Parnell. Stubbs, who will play in his maiden World Cup, demonstrated exceptional form in the T20Is against England.
