The 2023 World Test Championship finals will be played at London’s Oval Stadium, as stated by the the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday. In accordance with ICC, the 2023–25 cycle’s championship will take place at London’s historic Lord’s Stadium .
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced today that the 2023 ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final will happen in grand fashion.
International Cricket Council’s Chief, Geoff Allardice, stated that, “We are glad that The Oval will host the ICC World Test Championship Final in 2019. The Oval is the perfect location for such a significant event on the calendar because of its great atmosphere and long legacy”.
The first World Test Championship final, which was initially scheduled to take place at Lord’s, but later on it was played at the Southampton Rose Bowl Stadium in 2021.
