DISTRESS! Denmark’s Copenhagen Mall Terror-Struck

A Danish guy, age 22, stormed the Field’s shopping centre in Copenhagen, Denmark, and started shooting at the customers. According to sources, the event resulted in three fatalities and several injuries. Police detained the attacker and charged him with homicide.

In Denmark, gun violence is quite uncommon.

The 22-year-old “ethnic Dane “‘ is still unknown, according to the police, who also noted that they knew him “but only peripherally.”

Police did, however, acknowledge that they were looking into footage that had allegedly been released online and showed the suspect brandishing firearms and aiming a gun at his head.

Witnesses said that the young Danish man, who was carrying a large rifle, opened fire without warning at the sizable Fields retail center, which is situated between the city center and Copenhagen Airport.

The assailant, who was in possession of a firearm and ammo, was taken into custody by the police. To make sure the attacker’s accomplices weren’t there, a thorough search operation was conducted in the immediate vicinity.

In Denmark, this was the first terrorist incident since 2015. In the most recent terror assault, a lone assailant injured six police officers in addition to killing two individuals. During a shootout with the Danish Police, the shooter was dead.

According to Denmark’s Security and Intelligence Services, there is a “severe” threat of terrorism against the country. Islamists pose the greatest threat, according to the agency’s most recent study. Right-wing radicals provide a “general” level threat, which indicates they are able to carry out an attack and/or want to do so.
