A personnel of a rural health institution in Pakistan’s Sindh province chopped the newborn baby’s head and left it inside the mother’s womb, putting the 32-year-old Hindu woman’s life in jeopardy.
The terrible tragedy led the Sindh government to establish a medical investigation board to investigate the incident and identify those responsible.
Professor Raheel Sikander of Jamshoro’s Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) who supervises the gynaecology unit, stated that
The Bheel Hindu woman, who belongs to a far-flung village in Tharparkar district, had first gone to a Rural Health Centre (RHC) in her area but with no female gynaecologist available, the inexperienced staff caused her immense trauma.
Professor Raheel Sikander added that, when the woman was challenged with a life-threatening scenario, she was brought to a neighbouring hospital in Mithi, where she was treated with no amenities. Her family eventually brought her to the LUMHS, where the rest of the newborn’s corpse was removed from the mother’s womb, saving her life.
The baby’s head was trapped within, and the mother’s uterus had ruptured, necessitating surgery to open up her abdomen and extract the head in order to save her life.
The shocking failure caused Sindh Health Services Director General Dr Juman Bahoto to launch separate investigations into the issue.
He stated that the investigation committees will look into what transpired, particularly the absence of a gynaecologist and female personnel at the RHC in Chachro.
The investigation panels will also examine into accusations that the woman was forced to have her video shot while laying on a stretcher, causing her trauma.

I think the peole who do this are totally against Hinduism. And a importance of baby being born should be realised and doing these are shit people and my thought is this should spread through out the world and so that for the safety for next child being born in the world. The person who did this should be ashamed may be jail sentence should be given and now a days criticizing Hindus itself an fashion
This is absurd. These things will give traumatic experiences man.
It is high time that we understand the importance of proper medical and health facilities in each and every part of the world. The rural areas were always been the victim of such severe and heart breaking cases since time immemorial. A life is gone, that to of a child who hadn’t came out of its mother’s womb. This kind of incidents do cause a lot of trauma inside every single one of us.
