According to information, after discovering six dead bodies, some of which were in an advanced stage of decomposition, in an apartment building in the heart of Johannesburg on Monday. The South African police announced they will charge a 21 years old man with six murder charges.
As stated by one of the Police Spokesperson Brenda Muridili that, In response to calls reporting a bad smell coming from one of the apartments, police were rushed to the area, where they found a Female body.
She further said that, the dead woman was dressed in a way that was similar to someone who had gone missing earlier in the month. Police arrested and questioned the man who was allegedly the last person to see the woman.
After police came back to the location that is outside the building, Muridili further added that, five more bodies were discovered outside the building, which also contains a temporary workshop and garbage cans.
As stated by Muridili , the victims are now being recognized by forensic experts, and police are following several leads. Witnesses at the scene told police that, a few sex workers had recently vanished in the area, she said. Suspect’s name yet to be known.
