England after electing to put Ireland into bat, Ireland openers Stirling and Balbirnie started off brilliantly but rain interfered for a short period and then play resumed. But Paul Stirling got out soon in the Powerplay to Mark Wood. Despite that, both Tucker and Balbirnie took Ireland to a score of 59 for 1 at the end of the Powerplay.
They both combined together shared a partnership of 82 runs scoring at 9 runs per over. But once tucker got out in an run out clash, Ireland kept losing wickets almost one wicket every over.

Just when Moeen Ali started the 15th over with a four and six, rains came down pouring and England managed to score only 105 runs in 14.3 overs, where Ireland score was 110 in 14.3 overs. Ireland won the match by 5 runs via DLS Method.
