The ‘Flying Hotel’ That Never Lands

Online users have become captivated by a concept video of Sky Cruise, a huge flying ship with enough for 5,000 guests and all the modern conveniences. Future iterations of this sort of aircraft, according to the video’s author, would have zero carbon emissions.

Even before the Wright Brothers’ famous flight, in the 18th century, Jonathan Swift wrote works that express the concept of a floating world.

The theory, as seen above, leans on current technology to picture a hypothetical future, in contrast to prior references that relied on the “virtues of materials” that make up the planet to give them with such flying skills.

Passengers to this Sky Cruise might charter aircraft or just purchase seats on a commercial airliner that could land on this ship. As soon as they boarded the Cruise, passengers could take in the scenery from a variety of viewing decks, including the disc-shaped observation tower integrated into the aircraft, while restaurants and bars provided food and drink options. According to a story by The Independent, the enormous ship will also contain theatres, movie theatres, game rooms, and even places for people to get married for those searching for more traditional entertainment.

Artificial intelligence (A.I.) will be used to control the ship, and it will be so skilled at reading weather patterns that it will not only be able to foresee rough weather but also glide over it, giving the visitors on board a hassle-free experience.

The Sky Cruise will allegedly feature 20 electric engines to keep the aircraft flying through the air, according to the video’s author, Hashem Al-Ghaili. The ship will be able to float for a long time without releasing any carbon dioxide since it is propelled by nuclear fusion.

Al-Ghaili declines to take credit for the design of the airship, which Cruisehive claims was built by Tony Holmsten. Al-Ghaili only animated the idea and produced the video to speculate on what a real-world Sky Cruise, which he refers to as the “Flytanic,” may be like.

While some people were pleased by the aircraft’s design, others doubted that it could actually fly. A large runway would be required for the Cruise to take off, one that wouldn’t truly be utilised for any other ship, as one YouTube commenter pointed out.
