Zimbabwe Announces Team For T20 World Cup 2022, Craig Ervine To Lead The Squad

The 15 member roster for Zimbabwe has been revealed for the Upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia. Prior to the title game, Zimbabwe will benefit greatly from the inclusion of Craig Ervine, Tendai Chatara, Wellington Masakadza, and Milton Shumba in the 15-member team following their individual recoveries.

Blessing Muzarabani, a staple in many T20 tournaments, is also healthy again and will once more direct Zimbabwe’s bowling attack.  Zimbabwe has also named Tadiwanashe Marumani, Innocent Kaia, Kevin Kasuza, Victor Nyauchi, and Tanaka Chivanga as non-traveling reserves.

Zimbabwe’s T20 World Cup campaign gets underway with their Round 1 match against Ireland at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart, Tasmania. The top two teams from Group B will compete in the Super 12 stage alongside the top two teams from Group A, which also includes the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Namibia and the United Arab Emirates.

Travelling Reserves : Tanaka Chivanga, Innocent Kaia, Kevin Kasuza, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Victor Nyauchi.
